No account. We take an email so we can send your zip. That is most of it.

What we collect
You do not create a login. When you scan, you give a website and a city. When you pay, you give an email so we can send the zip. Stripe collects your card on their checkout page — we do not store card numbers.
Your browser also keeps a local copy of the scan (business name, phone, city, and similar facts) so you can finish checkout if you refresh. That copy stays on your device.
What the scanner reads
The scanner fetches public pages for the domain you enter: homepage, robots.txt, llms.txt, and obvious schema. We use that to fill the fact editor. We do not log into your site. We do not scrape private dashboards.
How we use it
Scan facts are used to write your pack. Your email is used to send the zip. We do not sell your email. We do not put you on a newsletter unless you ask.
Who else sees it
Stripe sees payment details. If we use an email provider to send the zip, that provider sees the destination address and the attachment. Hosting providers see normal server logs (IP, time, page). We do not use Google login or a third party captcha network — the human check runs on our site.
Cookies and storage
We use a small browser store named local-named-session so your scan and paid status survive a refresh. No ad pixels. No cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear site data in your browser to wipe it.
How long we keep it
Pack emails sit in the email system like any other sent mail. Payment records sit with Stripe. We do not keep a customer account file, because there is no account. Human-check tokens expire in minutes.
Your choices
You can skip the product — the scan is optional. You can pay with an email you control. Keep the pack email; there is no stored re-download locker. To delete a sent copy, delete the email. To wipe local facts, clear this site’s data in your browser.
Children
Local Named is for adult business owners. Do not use it if you are under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
